Efficiently Track Student Behaviors with Hero App

Hero is a free Android app developed by SchoolMint that aims to provide an efficient experience for tracking student behaviors and complying with disciplinary actions. With the app, users can easily track single or multiple behaviors, choose disciplinary actions and dates, and apply default policies. The app also allows users to comply with student disciplinary actions by student, scanning IDs, or by disciplinary action.

The app provides a comprehensive student profile that displays contact information, behavior history, behavior overview, and schedule. The app also supports biometrics such as FaceID, TouchID, and Android Biometric ID for enhanced security.

The new Hero app brings drastic improvements to mobile barcode reading, redesigned workflows to make tracking multiple students easier, and smarter ways to search for students. Additionally, the app offers three compliance modes: search, scan, and list.

While event tracking is not yet supported, the app provides a revised behavior tracking workflow that allows users to select multiple behaviors and then initiate a scan or search to select a student. Once a student is selected, all behaviors and consequences can be confirmed and applied. The app only shows a student's behavior history of the 200 most recent entries.
